Dr. Santora brings to her patients a life long passion and devotion to medicine. Her extensive
travels and sojourn abroad allowed her to experience natural medicine as the mainstream profession
that it is outside the U.S.A.
Her undergraduate degrees are in International business, foreign languages and a master's
degree in Education. She is fluent in French, Spanish, and Italian. She is a certified teacher
of these languages as well as ESL and has taught in the NY public school system for 8 years.
Her role as teacher dealing with students of different cultures puts her at ease with all, and
segues nicely into her present career as a Naturopathic Physician since the Latin meaning of
"doctor" is "teacher".
While teaching in NY she pursued her interest in medicine by serving as an Emergency Room
translator. Upon moving to Arizona she attended the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine
where, in July of 2002, she obtained the degree of Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine. She is a
board certified physician in the state of Arizona and has met the national certification
standards for the all states that license Naturopathic Physicians.
Dr. Santora believes in assessing the totality of symptoms and thus integrates a variety of
treatment modalities specific to the individual's condition. The mind-body connection plays an
exceedingly important role in healing the body. She diagnoses and treats chronic and
degenerative diseases, such as fibromyalagia, diabetes, arthritis, gastrointestinal
disturbances, hormone imbalances, endocrine and metabolic diseases, as well as many others.
She practices clinical nutrition, acupuncture, counseling, botanical medicine and homeopathy.
Her main goal is to give individualized attention and treatment to each of her patients.
